I've been playing, competing and teaching half my life and I always want my students to start out with an EASY reed, one they can play E for 15-20 minutes straight. These are the reeds I have best luck with. When I play 20- 30 minutes for a wedding, in high humidity and heat, these hold up quite well and I'm not "fighting" the reed.
