Wood is in good shape for the age with one chip on a tenor drone near the caps, no splits or cracks, and no chips or dings in the beading and combing. Small dings and one 1/8" chip on the imitation ivory. Chanter is uncarved. Original blowstick. Pipes include appraisal form with a re-sale value of $1,300 from Angus MacDonald at Tartan Thistle Pipes sold as sticks and stocks with case. Bag shown in picture is not salvagable. |

Purchased new about 18 years ago and barely played after that. Wood, varnish, and imitation ivory mounts are almost perfect - blowstick needs to be cleaned to bring back the shine. War-Mac poly chanter that has not been carved and reed cap. Well padded hard case. Things to replace: mouthpiece, reeds, old hide bag. |
