Bannatyne Canister Moisture Control System

Picture needs to be updated - hoses and canister are not black. The system comes with a spare cannister and extra dessicant.

Remove the cannister from the bag when not playing and put it in a plastic zip bag.

Drying of Gels

  1. Use a regular oven.  DO NOT MICROWAVE GELS.
  2. Remove the Canister by releasing the holding bands.
  3. Remove the lid (has the grooves in it) of the Canister carefully and empty gels very carefully into a bowl or jug that is microwaveable.
  4. e.g. Pyrex. Placing a piece of kitchen roll (paper towel) at the bottom will prevent the gels ‘bouncing’ out and going everywhere.
  5. Remove kitchen roll and place in an oven at 100C (212F), heating for 45 minutes.
  6. Gels should have returned or almost returned to original orange. If not, allow to cool as they will still be drying out as they are very hot.
  7. DO NOT TOUCH HOT GELS.  Let them cool about an hour on a cooling rack on the counter in the pyrex bowl.
  8. When the gels have cooled, refill the appropriate Canister chambers carefully (drones first), using a paper funnel or jug as again the gels are hard and may bounce.
  9. The system is ready to be used again.
